Once upon a time...

Hello to all my blog readers!  This is going to be my way of letting you all know what I am doing and how things are going while I am gone on my practicum.  I have never had a blog before so I hope that it is readable and enjoyable.  Let me know if there are certain things that you want to hear more about.

To begin, here are some details:

I leave on Tuesday, May 19th and fly out to Moncton, New Brunswick.  I will be staying with a couple named Terry and Monique Mirau who work and own a small mixed farm.  They do some alternative farming so I am excited to learn a lot from them.  Their farm is called Cedar Lane Farm and is not too far from a town called Sussex.  I'm not exactly sure what I will be doing while I am out there but will be sure to share once I find out.

Then at the end of August, I will be flying back to Winnipeg and driving to Regina to go to Katie and Glenn's wedding!  After the wedding I will be heading back to the farm to continue my practicum for a couple months and then will be home again around the end of October.

Well, that's it for now. Perhaps I will sometime post what Terry has told me is a typical schedule for them on the farm.
